ThreeThingThursday 2/14

ThreeThingThursday is a weekly post detailing three random–yet interesting–tidbits of information that are new to me this week. Arbitrary as they may seem, sometimes it’s the smallest things that lead to the greatest inspirations!

[ONE]: The return of Tamagotchi

Don’t lie, 90’s baby, I have your attention. Today an app by Tamagotchi L.I.F.E. is being released for Droid, and an iOS version is coming soon! They even have a “retro mode.” Needless to say, I’ll be downloading this.

[TWO]: MediaBistro how-to videos

As if my blog content hasn’t displayed this enough, I love all things professional development. Particularly free professional development. That’s why I think these MediaBistro how-t0 videos are like hidden treasure. Not very hidden, I suppose…

One of my favorites: how-to build your online portfolio.

[THREE]: The perfect marbled mani

That’s a hard thing to accomplish, but this method for a super cute and relatively tidy marbled manicure really does work. I wish I would have snapped a picture of my own! I used a mint base and teal on top. I also found that it was handy (pardon my punniness) to have my friend help me out with the saran wrap. Next: I’m definitely testing out the other nail tutorials on the Glitter, She Wrote blog.

[BONUS?]…Happy Valentine’s Day!

Doesn’t it seem like there’s more pessimism surrounding Valentine’s than there is romance? I have to say, VDay haters drive me a little crazy. No, we’re not all being swept off our feet today, but bitterness doesn’t look good on you. Besides, positive attitudes bring positive things!
